Yes, and that hasn't changed. I still don't have any sympathy for AI, NFTs or hyped up crypto bros. So why? I was browsing one of my friends commission sheet and form, and wanted to commission her anonymously - don't ask. Just to realize, oh - there's no payment option that lets you hide your real name. At least in my country. And clients that wants to commission me maybe don't want to disclosure their real name as well, like VTuber, public figures, my friends 🤔. Or PayPal is just not available in their country.

No, at least when you reside in the EU, you have to do so many verification processes. And somewhere someone knows who owns your wallet. This is the whole purpose why the EU has such strict laws about finances.

But scamming?

Yeah, they exist of course. And having an actual wallet makes you even more of a nice target for scamming. Especially for Scam-Token where you get send a worthless token to your wallet, and the "customer" might insist that they already send you the asked amount.
